Wally is the Property and Services Manager of Cooinda Aged Care Centre – a non-profit nursing home that serves the Sunshine Coast community in Gympie. Situated amidst in a serene country setting, surrounded by nature, the home prides itself on create a safe haven for the elderly, with a strong sense of community.
Wally oversees the operations of the 158 bed home, including the procurement of vital hygiene consumables used in their services.
He took a bold move in 2016, and moved from a traditional unit cost procurement model to a fixed fee supply package with Veridia.
Veridia’s supply package eliminates the need for internal stocktakes, order processing and goods receipts that Wally previously needed to coordinate.
