We began as Caterex, a one-person catering supplier in a back street of Wagga Wagga. Our founder, John Davis, ran his start-up from half of a rented shed.
In the early years, we steadily picked up customers who were attracted to our service and product range. We added team members and quickly outgrew our start-up shed, moving to a bigger warehouse around the corner.
Now fully established with many loyal customers and a growing team, we invested in our own 700sqm facility. Today, it still houses the Riverina Sales Office and Logistics Centre.
To service customers further afield, we set up a base of operations in the Sydney metropolitan area. We started small in Seven Hills before moving to an office and warehouse further northwest to Riverstone.
Recognising the power of collaboration, we joined forces with complementary businesses, Acropole Supplies based in NSW’s Central West, and Dispo Distributors in the Blue Mountains. These partnerships gave us a wider reach and extra capacity to grow.
As our reputation grew in NSW, we started to attract customers from over the border in Queensland. Soon, we gained enough long-term business to establish the Brisbane branch for distribution and service.
