Client Challenge.
McLean Care was seeking supply of N95 respirators, gowns and rapid antigen tests for their New South Wales sites and central stockpiles during the height of the Omicron crisis.
Due to heightened community transmission and new government requirements, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage peaked, leaving most supply options unsustainable.
Also, during this period, rapid antigen tests were recommended for use but not supplied by the Department of Health.
Veridia Solution.
Veridia was asked for a solution to meet greatly increased usage of PPE, and a new requirement for rapid antigen tests. Through our network of reliable and trusted partners, we were able to source the volume and quality required by McLean Care, including coordinating the logistics of supplying these to McLean Care’s Inverell site.
130,000 N95 respirators, 100,000 gowns, and 30,000 rapid antigen tests were secured, certified, and delivered to McLean Care using Veridia’s direct delivery and distribution partners, during January and February 2022.
Client outcome.
McLean Care was able to ensure the protection of their residents across their 6 sites in New South Wales.
McLean continues to partner with Veridia to meet their evolving needs through the challenges of the pandemic and changing operations.
