Meet Richard Sanders.
He’s the health and safety manager at Enirgi Power Storage and Recycling. He’s been with Enirgi for 10 years, and has seen the business through a lot of changes. Most recently, they joined with RAMCAR Australia and New Zealand in a consortium, creating a continuous loop – from making and selling, to recycling batteries.
One of Enirgi’s biggest issues post-COVID has been finding skilled and manual labour, whether through the labour market or hiring companies, so current employees’ time is at a premium.
Part of Richard’s role is dealing with incoming stock of hygiene and catering supplies – he says that when he started, “the supplies we got were not even and not consistent if we didn’t have a number of problems with them, whether it be delivery quantity and materials themselves.”
Richard decided to make a change. He has over 20 years of experience with Veridia in previous jobs, so they were a natural fit. He says, “I’ve never had issues with them in other companies, so I decided to bring them on board with that.”
Now Veridia manages Enirgi’s consumables, Richard has a much easier time.
“We’ve had an increase in the reliability of products coming in, so that the guys have all the material they need to keep our function in the actual site itself continuously running. But we do run 24/7, 365 days a year, whether that’s public holidays or not – the process must keep running.”
Veridia supplies the consumables that keep industrial sites running across Australia. If you’re experiencing inconsistent shipping and poor quality goods from your current supplier, contact us below for an easier time.
