Meet Craig Lucas.
He’s the Operations Manager at Forum 6 Cinema in Wagga. His favourite thing about working at Odeon Cinemas is the interaction with people.
“Everybody who walks through the front door should have a happy face on, because they want to come to the movies…hopefully they come in happy and they leave even happier.”
The unique Forum 6 building was built in 1996 specifically for Odeon, and since then Wagga has grown up and around the cinema. Craig says he has enjoyed watching Forum 6 be surrounded by a leisure and entertainment precinct, with restaurants, pubs and even a bowling club nearby. “You become a bit of an entertainment centre… a community asset really in a town like this.”
Craig remembers his first contact with Veridia back in 2002, when he met representative Stephen in Orange. Craig says,
“I can still remember him walking through the door, and he goes ‘Right, we can sell you a few chemicals, but what do you need?’ And Steve was pretty unique like that… he was always exploring what other way he could service us.”
Craig appreciates Veridia’s commitment to integrity most of all.
“[We have] a very healthy relationship, very open, very honest. There’s a lot of trust. At the end of the day I want to run a cinema and I don’t want to have to worry about what’s in the particular chemical we use to clean the benchtop. To me, that’s Veridia’s job, and I trust in their expertise to be able to carry that out for me.”
