Meet Sheree Ballard, from Junee Kids Early Learning.
She’s worked in the early childhood sector for over 20 years, and just enjoys being around children and educating children and caring for our future.
Junee Kids Early Learning, a 5-room, 102-place childcare service catering for children from zero to five, opened in September 2022.
Sheree says the best things about Junee Kids Early Learning are their hobby farm and bush training programme. “We’re in rural NSW, so a lot of our families and children live on farms or exposed to the farming life, so we really wanted to capture that… they’re going to be growing in nature and playing in nature which is really nice.”
A hurdle Sheree is working to overcome post-COVID is children with little social experience coming into the shared environment. “…those social interactions they’re learning – that’s a big thing to learn how to engage in play and play with other children when they haven’t had that for a very long time – they’ve just been at home.”
Junee Kids Early Learning started talking to Veridia before they opened, developing their product needs and service requirements during the set-up.
Sheree says, Not having the pressure of having to decide where things needed to go – [they had] experience setting out a facility [like ours] that Veridia had obviously have done before – that was really great
Veridia’s customer service is one of the highlights to Sheree –
“I could ring up [our rep] and go, ‘I need these quickly’… and the next day it was here. I wouldn’t really think about going anywhere else now.”
Veridia’s still helping Sheree focus on the important things at Junee Kids Early Learning. To learn more about how we can help childcare centres, contact us here.
